  • My newborn sessions are lifestyle-focused, meaning they’re centered around natural moments and genuine interaction rather than stiff posing. I love capturing the quiet cuddles, tiny details, and the way your family naturally connects with your newest love.
  • I highly encourage parents and siblings to be included in these sessions—those in-between moments often become the most meaningful images. Don’t worry, though—your baby will still have a dedicated portion of the session just for them, allowing us to focus on all those sweet, brand-new details.

When should newborn photos be taken?

Newborn sessions are typically scheduled within the first 7–28 days after birth. During this time, babies are still very sleepy and snuggly, which is perfect for capturing those natural, cozy moments.

Because my newborn sessions are lifestyle-focused, there’s flexibility within this window. Whether your baby is wide awake, stretching, or settling into cuddles, each stage brings its own beautiful moments. I recommend booking during pregnancy to ensure availability, and we’ll finalize the session date once your baby arrives.

How do fresh 48 session's work?

For Fresh 48 sessions, I am officially on call around your due date to ensure I can document your baby’s first hours in the hospital. This means once you go into labor, you (or your partner) will notify me, and I’ll remain available and flexible to arrive within the first 24–48 hours after birth.

Because babies don’t arrive on a schedule, I reserve space around your due date and limit the number of Fresh 48 sessions I accept each month. This allows me to be ready when your baby makes their debut—whether they arrive early, late, or right on time.

What happens if my kids do not cooperate?

That’s completely okay—and honestly, very normal. Kids don’t need to be “perfect” for beautiful photos. I take a relaxed, patient approach and follow their lead, allowing space for breaks, movement, and natural interaction.

Some of the most meaningful images come from real moments: snuggles, giggles, curiosity, and even a little chaos. I’ll gently guide when needed, but I never force smiles or poses. My goal is to create a comfortable environment where your kids can be themselves—and where you can simply enjoy the moment with them.

If a child needs extra time or comfort, we work through it together. You’re never expected to stress or worry—I’ve got it handled 🤍
